CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:

OPEN LEVEL:
Great for Everybody! Beginners to Advanced
practitioners will gain flexibility, stregnth, and relaxation.

LEVEL 1: A basic flowing class that covers the basic
postures.

LEVEL 2: For yogi’s who have a practice of 2-4 times a week interested in a more challenging class. Options for arm balances and inversions, deep backbending, and hip openers.

YOGA NEWBIES: Yoga for people who have never done
yoga before! A place for newbies to explore the basics in a supportive environment. Classes are small and we’ll move slowly to make sure you understand everything well. A great segway into bigger group classes and good for all practitioners who want to further explore their alignment.

MOVE + MEDITATE: Get sweaty in a yummy flow. Asana out all of your stress and work out any tension in the body so you can sit in comfort and peace. Second half of class is dedicated to restorative postures and meditation. We access many different avenues of meditation including, sensation awareness, kirtan (chanting), chakra meditation, sound meditation etc.

MASTER CLASS: Study with a master teacher - advanced postures and philosophy of yoga. $25 Drop in Fee. (First Sunday of the Month)

YOGA VIBES: Meditation, Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep/deep relaxation) a great way to start your week. Deeply healing and restorative.

RESTORATIVE/YOGA NIDRA:
Postures are supported on the floor with props as teacher helps you to deeply relax. Great for PMS, colds, and for deep relaxation and healing. Boost immune function and decrease stress related illness.

KIDS: Young ones experience the same physical benefits adults do from doing yoga such as strengthening, flexibility and coordination (good for development and sports performance.) Yoga enhances self-awareness, self esteem, self-discipline, imagination and empathy. Children learn ways to relax and control their stress leading to better concentration, and better performance in school. Plus KIDS yoga is fun and engaging!! MOMMY AND ME: Help baby sleep longer, digest better, avoid collic,

PRE-NATAL: Nourish yourself and/or your baby to be! Strengthen mind, body and spirit in preparation for labor and delivery with a class designed to help expectant moms deepen their experience and enjoyment of pregnancy. Class includes yoga postures to address and relieve the common discomforts of pregnancy/ boost fertility for women looking to conceive. Relaxation techniques and breathing exercises to ease fear and anxiety; abdominal and pelvic floor toning to enhance postnatal recovery for pregnant women and tap into your pranic (energetic) flow to find deep strength and peace. This class is beneficial at anytime during pregnancy. Please let your pregnant friends and family members know about this yummy class! ($119 6 Class Pack)

POST-NATAL + BABY: This unique class combines yoga and play to get back in shape while strengthening the bond between you and your infant.  Experience flowing asanas, challenging postures, and calming restorative time in a playful and safe environment for babies. Learn Baby Yoga exercises to strengthen growing muscles, aid in digestion, promote better sleeping patterns, and help your infant towards their next stage of development. Basic infant massage techniques will also be introduced.Dads are welcome too! All levels($25 Drop in- 5 Class pack $100)

CANCER SURVIVOR: Yoga, Holistic Nutitionist, Ayurvedic Specialist,
and Naturopath work together to help turn on the bodies ability to
naturally heal.

GENTLE FLOW (prenatal emphasis): Extra gentle yoga for everybody but especially welcome to women who are pregnant or trying to concieve. Nourish yourself! Strengthen mind, body and spirit. Class includes yoga postures to address and relieve the common discomforts of pregnancy/ boost fertility for women looking to conceive. Relaxation techniques and breathing exercises to ease fear and anxiety; abdominal and pelvic floor toning to help tap into your pranic (energetic) flow to find deep strength and peace. This class is beneficial at anytime during pregnancy and for all people, pregnant or not, looking to relax.

BEACH YOGA: Take your yoga practice into the great outdoors. $10 for Revolution Members, $20 for drop in. We meet weekly on Sundays at Long Beach. Please call ahead for location details. Surf lessons or massage sessions post-yoga available upon request.

WEEKEND WIND-DOWN: A class structured to help you unwind, deknot, destress and reset after a long and hectic week. Class will start with Vinyasa Flow and finish with Yummy Restorative Postures and a guided Relaxation Yoga-Nidra (Yogic Sleep)
