What's your story?
As a child and and into my teens while growing up in the Philippines I was very sickly. I was diagnosed with asthma and hay fever and struggled with my weight into my forties. I felt old at a young age and I longed for a sense of well-being. Who knew that my wish would come true.
In 2008 I walked into my first yoga class and I was hooked for life! With no prior yoga experience, it was the start of my 200 hour teacher training program. I loved how the practice of yoga made me feel, physically, mentally and spiritually. Yoga has brought me great health along with strength and balance. Most importantly, it brought equanimity to my life, and is something I love to share with others. Thus, my heart warming love affair with yoga began.

What do you teach?

I teach two styles of yoga. One is a breath-centered Vinyasa (flow) style of Hatha yoga that is designed to stretch and strengthen the body. Classes flow to the sound of contemporary music and old favorites. I also teach Restorative yoga (relaxation yoga) that calms the mind and soothes the nervous system and Yoga Nidra, an ancient guided meditation which I love. Using these valuable tools of yoga, breath technique, balanced asana practice and meditation, one can burn out the impurities trapped in the physical, mental and emotional bodies bringing you back to your own true self... the blissful state within you. I am forever a student of yoga and continue to train in workshops and practice the many different styles of yoga. Come along, take a class with me and enjoy!

What are your greatest passions in life?
Family, children and grandchildren, traveling, healthy cooking, yoga, reading

How do you plan on changing the world?
What brings so much joy and fulfillment for me is when I am able to help people relax, feel connected to themselves and to everything around them, the world so to speak and to find balance not only in a yoga class but also in their life. When we feel good we are nicer!

How many passport stamps do you have?
In my late twenties, I had the opportunity to travel the world as a flight attendant for Gulf Air and was based in Bahrain for a couple of years. I I loved learning the many different cultures and traditions of the world! Hongkong, Singapore, Thailand, India, Bangladesh, Dhaka, Pakistan, Australia, Switzerland, France, Germany, London, Dubai, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar.
