Nickname: Keith aka Dr. Angrisani

What’s your story?

In highschool I wanted to learn about anatomy and decided that learning it through yoga was going to be the best way. More than 10 years later, and this was by far one of the best decisions I have ever made. I fell in love with learning about the body. Learning how it works and why so many things impact our mechanical function, and conversely can be impacted by it. I aim to help people reach and explore their optimal function through movement. To advance my skills further, I continued my higher education in the Chiropractic field.

Dr. Angrisani graduated from Northeast College of Health Sciences with a Doctorate degree in Chiropractic in 2023 earning a spot in the Phi Chi Omega Honor Society as well a certification in Whole Food Nutrition. His undergraduate career at SUNY New Paltz focused on PsychoBiology, which helps in his use of a Biopsychosocial approach to care. Dr. Angrisani believes in the importance of treating the root cause and not only the symptoms which means each of us need to be treated as a whole to reach our health goals. As a NeuroMusculoSkeletal specialist he is equipped to diagnose and treat a wide range of injuries and imbalances as well as help people optimize their and understand their health.

He utilizes his training in yoga and fitness as well as a number of different techniques during patient care. These include: Active and passive stretching, PIR/PNF stretching, rehabilitative exercise, Cupping, Taping, Myofascial Flossing, Proprioceptive training and Biofeedback, Myofascial Rolling, Manual Therapy and Manipulation, Spinal Manipula

What are your biggest passions in life?

One of my biggest passions will always be learning. I am a firm believer that we can learn something from every person we meet. As a lifelong learner I find myself always wondering what lessons can be taken away from various people, places, or situations.

Another big passion of mine is travel. It’s in finding myself in these new environments that I am able to find even more growth. Prune the things I thought might have served me, and learn new skills to take me further on my journey.

How do you plan on changing the world?

I plan to help empower people by teaching them about movement and their bodies. In the world of information sometimes people just don’t know where to look or what to trust. Hopefully I am able to provide evidence based practices that could help someone get closer to their personal goals. Sometimes physiological barriers prevent us from reaching our dreams, sometimes they just slow us down. I enjoy helping people find out that they’re in the latter category, and find their way back on track.

How many passport stamps do you have?

I love to travel. Learning about different cultures around the world and exploring new food and traditions. I love finding myself in new countries learning how they take their coffee and what a typical dinner looks like. To think our own little corner of the world is all there is, walls us off to learning and growth. In total I have 12 different stamps in my passport but I’ve repeatedly traveled quite a bit to some areas that still called to me. “The world is a book, and those who don’t travel read only a page.” -St. Augustine
